FAQ
BODYTALK
- 01There are a vast array of networks and systems that can be utilized to understand the bodymind complex. Many have been documented by the Ancient Indian sages, The practitioners of Chinese medicine and the indigenous peoples the world over. Western medicine, quantum physics and modern alternative healers such as osteopaths and chiropractors have added to the understanding of who we are and how we function. All this knowledge is utilized in the comprehensive energy modality of Bodytalk. The practitioner is able to gather information about the person through both their own and the clients innate wisdom. Then the practitioner can reestablish communication within the organs, endocrines and different aspects of the body and its consciousness to produce astounding results. The body talker has the ability to zoom into the cellular structure of the client or zoom out into the world that is affecting that person and find out what is out of sync. The Body Talk Practitioner then simply by tapping on the head and heart reestablishes broken lines of communication both within their body and mind.
- 02Absolutely. BodyTalk enhances the body's ability to handle stress and can positively influence sleep, digestion, mood, and energy levels. Clients often wonder if they should consider a session when they're already feeling well. Even when your system is functioning smoothly, a session can fine-tune its performance by addressing factors that might not typically take precedence.
- 03Following a session, clients frequently express feeling lighter, calmer, and more centered. You might experience improvements in sleep patterns, digestion, as well as heightened self-awareness and an enhanced ability to manage stress and conflicts.
- 041. Engaging the Body: In a BodyTalk session, the practitioner establishes a connection with the body's innate wisdom using neuromuscular biofeedback. 2. Prioritization: This distinguishing feature sets BodyTalk apart from other Energy Medicine Modalities. Through a series of yes or no questions, the client's own body guides the practitioner to identify and address the most crucial imbalances. 3. Gentle Tapping: Tapping on specific points, such as the head, engages the brain in repairing communication breakdowns. Tapping on the sternum, or heart, ensures that the newfound information is integrated throughout the entire body. 4. Integration: Following the session, the process of integration begins. The Bodymind continues to absorb and internalize the instructions provided during the BodyTalk session. This facilitates the optimal functioning of the body's mechanisms.

- 06The BodyTalk System is a holistic approach to health and well-being developed by Dr. John Veltheim, an Australian Chiropractor and Acupuncturist, in 1995. It has since been embraced by practitioners worldwide.
- 07Practitioners of the BodyTalk System come from diverse backgrounds, including medical doctors, psychologists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, naturopaths, physical therapists, osteopaths, nurses, licensed massage therapists, and more. It's also accessible to laypeople interested in self-care.
- 08The BodyTalk System stands out for its outstanding results across various aspects of health, its short learning curve, its ability to complement other health care modalities, and its non-invasive and safe nature. It does not conflict with existing health care systems or laws.
- 09The BodyTalk System communicates with the innate wisdom of the body through neuromuscular biofeedback. Practitioners ask the body specific questions, receiving "yes" or "no" answers. This information guides the practitioner in identifying what the body needs to harmonize its functions.
- 10During a session, the practitioner identifies which organs, endocrines, or body parts need to be connected for improved communication at the physiological, biochemical, circulatory, nervous, emotional, and energy levels. Gentle tapping on specific points helps focus the brain toward repair, with the heart energy complex storing the changes.
- 11The BodyTalk System reestablishes communication systems within the body, synchronizing the body-mind complex. This enables the body to heal itself deeply and effectively. Results include improved immune function, reduction in allergies, enhanced emotional and psychological well-being, better posture, digestion, brain function, and more.
- 12Yes, the BodyTalk System is entirely non-invasive, and practitioners do not prescribe medication or use invasive techniques. It can be safely integrated into other health care practices or used as a stand-alone system. Laypeople can also use it for self-care and assisting their loved ones.
CONSCIOUS WITNESSING
- 01What is the love I am seeking? The love you seek in people, relationships, achievement, or experience is often the reflection of something you have forgotten within yourself — we search outside for what we believe is missing inside. The deeper work is to turn toward the parts of yourself you have rejected, avoided, or failed to honor, until you recognize that the love you were seeking was never something another person could give you; it is something you learn to live as.
- 02How does love manifest again?Love has never left you; you have only become disconnected from the experience of it through wounding, conditioning, and the identities formed around those experiences. As those layers are witnessed and completed, the separation begins to dissolve, and love is no longer something you are trying to get — it becomes the natural expression of who you already are.
- 03Conscious Witnessing helps you see the beliefs and identities formed through past experiences, pain, loss, or trauma — and how, often unconsciously, you may repeat or attract relationship patterns that confirm those old conclusions about yourself, others, and life. As you witness the blueprint, you begin to recognize that the conditioned identity is not who you truly are, creating the freedom to relate and choose from your authentic self rather than the small identity shaped by the past.
- 04What is Conscious Witnessing, and how does it differ from traditional counseling?Conscious Witnessing is a consciousness-based process that helps you see the beliefs, emotional imprints, and small identity formed through past experiences that may be shaping your relationships, intimacy, self-worth, and sense of possibility. Rather than focusing only on the present problem, we go beneath the pattern to understand its root, witness it without identification, and begin creating change from a deeper, more authentic sense of self.
- 05Is Conscious Witnessing suitable for couples?Yes. In couples work, Conscious Witnessing helps each person step back from the immediate conflict and see the wounded beliefs, protective patterns, and small identities being activated within themselves and mirrored through the relationship. As each partner takes responsibility for what belongs to them, blame can soften, the deeper pattern becomes visible, and the relationship can become a space for greater understanding, intimacy, and conscious choice.
- 06During a Conscious Witnessing session, you are held in a safe, non-judgmental space where we use deep, precise questioning to uncover the beliefs, fears, judgments, and conditioned patterns beneath the conflict you are experiencing. Whether working individually, as a couple, or within a family, the intention is to bring what has been unconscious into awareness so you can understand the root, gain clarity, and begin responding from greater consciousness rather than from the old pattern.
- 07Conscious Counseling offers both in-person and virtual sessions to accommodate your preferences and needs. Virtual sessions are conducted via ZOOM, Google Meet, or Skype, ensuring accessibility and convenience.
- 08Yes. Confidentiality creates the safety to speak openly about what you may normally hide, judge, or fear revealing, allowing deeper beliefs and wounds to come into awareness without shame. As you begin to understand and accept yourself more fully, self-love and self-esteem strengthen, and you become less governed by fear, rejection, or the need for external approval.
- 09How do my thoughts and words influence my actions? Our thoughts and words often arise from deeper beliefs we hold about ourselves, others, and life. When those beliefs are rooted in fear, inadequacy, rejection, or past experiences, they can create repetitive thought loops that affect our emotions, the way we interpret situations, what we say, and ultimately how we behave and relate to others.I call this the vicious cycle: belief influences thought, thought influences feeling, feeling influences words and actions, and those actions can then reinforce the original belief. When we become conscious of the underlying belief and begin changing our relationship to it, the cycle can shift — creating new thoughts, choices, and behaviors that support greater self-love, confidence, and freedom.
GENERAL
- 01Truth to Joy Therapy does not take insurance. We do is offer payment plans.
- 02Unlike conventional therapies Truth to Joy Therapy does not involve diagnosing or medicating individuals. Our therapeutic approach is rooted in a belief that many behaviors, including anger, sadness, violence, feelings of weakness, victimhood, domination tendencies, and conditions like ADHD or bipolar disorder, often have underlying root causes that can be healed without medications or labeling through what is referred to as diagnosis.
- 03We recognize that emotions are created in the body in response to the thoughts that we constantly have. The philosophy of Truth to Joy Therapy is based on the idea that giving a diagnosis can sometimes feel like a message of hopelessness and resignation. Instead, we firmly believe that each person can make enormous changes through deep inner work and healing. In Truth to Joy Therapy, we emphasize the importance of love, compassion, non-judgment, and healing. We work with individuals to explore and understand the underlying factors contributing to their challenges and guide them in the process of self-discovery and transformation. Our goal is to help individuals find their inner joy and fulfillment, recognizing that a diagnosis does not define their potential for growth and happiness.
- 04At Truth to Joy Therapy the principles of growth do not include the belief that medications or psychotropic drugs are at all necessary for self evolution or dramatic change to occur.
- 05Yes, in Truth to Joy Therapy, it is often observed that clients naturally reduce or eliminate their reliance on medications over time, with the guidance and cooperation of their medical doctors, if they so desire. This process occurs as the root causes of their behavioral and emotional challenges are systematically addressed and resolved. As clients progress through the therapy, they tend to experience a significant reduction in tendencies to act out, become depressed, or engage in self-destructive behaviors. This is because the underlying triggers and sources of these behaviors are identified and effectively dealt with. Consequently, the need for self-medication, whether it involves prescription medications or the use of street drugs, alcohol, or addictive behaviors like sex and pornography addiction, often diminishes or disappears entirely. Our approach is holistic, focusing on deep inner work, healing, love, and compassion. By addressing the core issues that drive these behaviors, clients can achieve lasting transformation and a significant improvement in their overall well-being. However, it's crucial to emphasize that any decisions related to medication changes should be made in consultation with qualified medical professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of the individual.
MEDITATION
- 01According to the Vedas, thoughts originate from the space of pure consciousness or the higher self. This suggests that the mind is a tool of the soul or higher self, and thoughts arise as a result of the interaction between the individual's consciousness and the external world. In this view, thoughts are not random or independent entities but are shaped by one's past experiences, conditioning, and the environment.
- 02HDH Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam, and my teacher encourages individuals to meditate and explore their inner selves to gain a deeper understanding of the source of thoughts and to ultimately transcend them in pursuit of spiritual growth and self-realization.
- 03One study indicates that it takes up to 8 weeks for your brain to start seeing benefits from meditation. These benefits include improved focus, enhanced emotional regulation and control, and better decision-making.
- 04The results showed that participants who meditated showed an average gain in IQ of 23 percent.
- 05According to research, meditation continues to be one of the essential practices for managing and healing health conditions like depression, cancer, sleep problems, high BP – blood pressure, asthma, anxiety, heart problems and diseases, and migraines.
- 06More gray matter can lead to more positive emotions, longer-lasting emotional stability and heightened focus during daily life. Meditation has also been shown to diminish age-related effects on gray matter and reduce the decline of our cognitive functioning.
- 07Eventually, those 10-minute meditation sessions help rewire our brain so that it gets easier and easier to bring that same level of awareness to our everyday lives. And a calmer, more relaxed version of ourselves will emerge — that's pretty nice.
- 08Meditation lets you become more aware and more purposeful about your actions. It teaches you how to respond, rather than react, to situations in your life.
- 09Levels of dopamine (the neurotransmitter of pleasure), serotonin (the neurotransmitter of happiness), and GABA (the neurotransmitter of calmness) all rise in response to meditation. And in people who practice on a daily basis, they send signals more routinely.
- 10Studies have shown that through meditation, we increase their neuroplasticity, changing the brain itself to positively alter the way they see themselves, others, and the world.
- 11The meditation causes an experience of a growing explosion in consciousness that can steer a person towards a life of totality and completion.
- 12The earliest records of meditation (dhyana) are found in the Upanishads, and meditation plays a salient role in the contemplative repertoire of Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism.
- 13When, after eight weeks, their MR images were tested, it was found that their gray-matter density in the hippocampus had increased. It is a factor that boosts one's learning abilities, memory, self-awareness, compassion and introspection.
- 14Some research shows that meditation can change the brain's structure.Others show that it can change brain functions. Meditation has measurable effects on three areas of your brain: gray matter — involved in muscle control and sensory perception, including emotions, memory, speech, seeing, hearing, and decision making.
- 15The earliest documented records that mentioned meditation involved Vedantism, which is a Hindu tradition in India, around 1500 BCE. This is my area of study. In truth your true nature is Meditation, and so it is timeless.
- 16Meditation is an experience that takes you to the depths of who you are. You, as your real self, stripped of all the perceptions you had about yourself until that point in your life. In the process, you experience joy and peace.
- 17Meditation holds immense power due to its capacity to foster a positive influence across all facets of our lives. This ability stems from its capacity to alter brain chemistry, ushering in a deceleration of thoughts, an enhancement in concentration, and a reduction in feelings of fear, anxiety, and stress, among other benefits. Remarkably, these positive transformations are accessible to everyone, regardless of age, even extending to children.
- 18It can strengthen areas of your brain responsible for memory, learning, attention and self-awareness. The practice can also help calm down your sympathetic nervous system. Over time, mindfulness meditation can increase cognition, memory and attention.
- 19Not at all. The meditations are guided. You sit comfortably and listen. The only requirement is that you allow yourself to be involved with sincerity.
- 20The calm that comes from meditating is a deep and peaceful sort of calm. It is a feeling of time slowing down. For a minute, or even for a few hours, thoughts slow down, the mind stops racing, and you experience a deep sense of calm. Inside that calm, there is bliss.
- 21The major energy centers of the body profoundly impact every aspect of your daily life. As these chakras become energized and open, your physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions undergo a transformation. Negatives like lust, fear, greed, worry, attention-seeking, jealousy, ego, and discontent shift, making way for a blossoming of positivity and a rise to a higher level of being. Your consciousness unfolds into a more vibrant and harmonious state.
- 22To prepare for meditation, it's advisable to have a light meal one or two hours beforehand. Find a comfortable seated position, either on the floor or in a chair, with your head, neck, and spine aligned straight. Maintaining an erect spine is crucial, as it serves as a conduit for the flow of energies and breath within the body. If sitting upright is challenging, you may use back support to ensure a relaxed yet aligned posture. Additionally, keep a shawl or sweater handy in case your body temperature cools during meditation, as this is a common occurrence.
- 23Meditation has various physical and mental health benefits, including that it can help detoxify the body. Here are several ways meditation can contribute to overall well-being: 1. Stress Reduction: Meditation is known to reduce stress levels. Chronic stress can lead to the production of stress hormones like cortisol, which can have detrimental effects on various bodily systems. By reducing stress, meditation may help the body maintain better balance and reduce the burden on detoxification organs like the liver. 2. Improved Sleep: Many people experience improved sleep quality through meditation. Quality sleep is crucial for the body's natural detoxification processes, as this is when the brain's glymphatic system is most active, clearing waste products and toxins from the brain. 3. Enhanced Immune Function: Regular meditation has been linked to improved immune system function. A stronger immune system can better defend against pathogens and harmful substances, reducing the overall burden on the body's detoxification processes. 4. Mind-Body Connection: Meditation fosters a strong mind-body connection, which can lead to better awareness of one's physical and emotional well-being. This awareness may lead individuals to make healthier lifestyle choices, such as consuming fewer toxins through diet and environmental exposures. 5. Reduced Inflammation: Chronic inflammation is linked to various health issues. Some studies suggest that meditation can reduce inflammation in the body. Lowering inflammation levels may indirectly support detoxification by reducing the overall stress on the body. 6. Improved Breathing: Certain meditation techniques focus on deep and mindful breathing. This can enhance lung function and oxygenate the body, potentially aiding in the removal of metabolic waste and toxins through respiration. 7. Psychological Benefits: Meditation can also have psychological benefits, reducing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and addiction. When people are mentally and emotionally healthier, they may be more inclined to make choices that are less harmful to their bodies. It's important to note that while meditation can support overall health and well-being, the body's primary detoxification organs are the liver and kidneys. These organs work continuously to filter and eliminate toxins from the body. Meditation can complement these practices and create a more supportive environment for the body's natural detoxification processes.
THE COMPLETION TECHNIQUE
- 01Understand, if there was a trauma or even a simple incident in your childhood in which you felt a great injustice. If there was a tremendous hurt or humiliation, the end result was a feeling of powerlessness. As a child, you could not understand what happened in that moment. You didn’t have the analytical skills. Your nervous system was not fully developed so you could not adequately respond to the situation. You felt bewildered, unloved. The you that was emerging with language and thoughts felt crushed. You had an overwhelming feeling of powerlessness. In this innocence, you were incapable of dealing with the complexity of what happened.
- 02When I say ""you"" I am referring to the thoughts that you had about you and about life in that moment. You set up a way to deal with the world. You developed a thought pattern about life through the lens of that experience. You go forward living life on the basis of a belief system that has nothing to do with reality. This belief system is an ongoing tape in the mind such as, “Something is wrong with me.” “I’m all alone.” “Nobody loves me.” “Life is hard; life is dangerous.” You are forever stuck with this recording until the root pattern is uncovered. Discovering the pattern on which your consciousness functions is an essential part of THE PROCESS. Follow my next post and learn about the pain patterns that grow out of the root pattern.
- 03Release the burdens of unfulfilled desires and unlock profound healing. The Completion Session addresses lingering emotional, mental, and spiritual incompletions from past experiences and relationships. Through this process, you transcend pain, rediscover self-love, and nurture genuine compassion for others. Developed from ancient Vedic techniques, the Completion Session delves into your Samskaras, deeply engraved memories, clearing negative thought patterns and engraved memories from your conscious and unconscious mind. Working through healing the relationship you have with yourself, others, and life, you will experience a technique that can be repeated at home in the mirror, through writing, and with me either virtually or in-person. This process involves releasing, healing the wounded self, completing, and returning to the blissful state of Poornatva, or Completion. Experience true transformation and healing.
THE 12 WEEK PROCESS
- 01What will I experience in the 12-Week Process?Every person unfolds differently. While many of the root beliefs beneath suffering may be similar, the way they are held — and the timing in which they are ready to be seen and completed — is deeply individual. The 12-Week Process gives us time to work progressively, almost like moving through the layers of an onion. The technologies we use are customized to what is arising for you and may include subconscious work, Conscious Witnessing, Completion, Advaitic Healing, 5-Layer/Kosha work, meditation, breathwork, energy healing, and other approaches as appropriate. Some shifts may happen quickly, while others unfold gradually as deeper layers become available. The pathway is not about forcing change on a timetable; it is about meeting each layer with the right technology, awareness, and readiness so greater clarity, freedom, self-trust, and inner stability can emerge.
- 02What makes the 12-Week Process so transformative? The 12 weeks create a sacred container of sustained attention, energy, honesty, love, and deep inner work. Together, we look intimately at the root patterns, beliefs, wounds, and identities that have shaped your experience, allowing them to be witnessed, unraveled, and completed layer by layer. The intention is not to achieve some perfected version of yourself. Your original state of completion is not something you earn; it is what becomes more available as you let go of what is no longer true.We are always in a state of becoming. The 12 weeks can create profound shifts in how you relate to your past, yourself, and your life, but what is realized within the container must then be lived, embodied, and expressed beyond it. That is where transformation continues
- 03The Process is designed to unfold in layers, gradually revealing what has been buried beneath conditioning, pain, and the identities formed around past experience. Because each person heals and unfolds differently, the work is tailored to you and to what is ready to be seen, understood, and completed at each stage. This is a journey of deconstruction, reconstruction, healing, integration, and resolution — ultimately guiding you back toward greater self-love, self-trust, and a deeper experience of who you are beneath the pattern. It combines inquiry, self-understanding, and consciousness-based technologies with moments of deep inner stillness and expanded awareness. The work asks for focus, honesty, commitment, and enough time for the deeper layers to emerge. Many clients experience meaningful relief, clarity, or renewed hope early in the process, and those shifts can become the beginning of a much deeper transformation. The intention is not to manufacture wholeness, but to uncover what has always been there — allowing you to live with greater freedom, intimacy, joy, and authenticity.
- 04Does the 12-Week Truth to Joy Process include everything you do?The 12-Week Process gives us access to the full range of technologies within my work, but not every person needs every method. Your process is individually designed, and we draw from Conscious Witnessing, Completion, Advaitic Healing, 5-Layer/Kosha work, subconscious and trance work, meditation, breathwork, energy healing, BodyTalk, and other approaches according to what is arising and what will best support your unfolding.
- 05What is the time commitment for the 12-Week Process? The Process typically includes two sessions each week, with the length of each session adjusting to what is needed at that stage of the work, up to approximately three hours total per week. Staying closely connected gives us the flexibility to work with patterns, conflicts, or situations as they arise, so what happens in daily life becomes part of the transformational process rather than something separate from it.When appropriate, an issue may be addressed during the next scheduled session or through an additional brief, mutually scheduled call. The intention is to keep the work responsive, focused, and connected to what is actually unfolding in your life.
- 06How do you work with suffering and past trauma?During our work, emotions and memories connected to difficult or traumatic experiences may surface across the mind, body, and nervous system. I guide you through what arises with care and conscious awareness, drawing from different technologies according to what is needed rather than forcing you to relive the past.Often, suffering continues because an earlier experience has left behind beliefs, emotional responses, and protective patterns that are still being activated in present-day relationships and situations. As we bring these patterns into awareness, work with the emotions connected to them, and begin completing the beliefs formed around the experience, the past can lose its power to define the present. The intention is not to erase what happened, but to free you from having to continually live from it — so more of your authentic Being can become available.
- 07Why might the 12-Week Process be more appropriate than a shorter container? The 12-Week Process is designed for someone who needs more than a single breakthrough or focused intervention. The longer container gives us time not only to uncover the root pattern, but to work with the different layers in which it has been held, integrate what is being realized, and begin living differently as real-life situations arise.Several things make the extended process valuable:Depth and continuity. We are not repeatedly starting and stopping. Staying closely connected allows us to follow a pattern from its root through the ways it appears in relationships, emotions, choices, the body, and everyday life.Integration takes time. Insight can happen in a moment, but living from a new understanding is a process. Twelve weeks gives you repeated opportunities to recognize the old identity when it appears and consciously choose something different. The work can unfold through the layers. Body, breath, mind, subconscious conditioning, energy, and consciousness do not necessarily shift at the same pace. The longer container gives us room to meet what emerges without forcing the process. The technologies can be individualized. Depending on what is needed, we may draw from RTT/deep trance, Conscious Witnessing, Completion, Advaitic Healing, 5-Layer/Kosha work, meditation, breathwork, chakra work, BodyTalk, and energy healing. Not every person needs every technology.Your life becomes part of the work. Situations that arise during the twelve weeks give us real opportunities to see whether an old pattern is still operating and to work with it while it is alive, rather than only understanding it intellectually. You develop a different relationship with yourself. Sustained attention to your own inner world can deepen self-respect, self-trust, and self-love — creating a stronger foundation from which to relate to others and to life. The 12-Week Process is not necessary for everyone, and it is not a promise that every aspect of a person's life will be resolved within twelve weeks. It is the deepest of the structured containers because it provides the time, intimacy, continuity, and range of technologies needed for more complex or deeply established patterns to unfold and transform.
- 08What happens in the Process when working with couples?Couples work goes beneath the surface argument to understand what is actually being activated within each person. Conflict may appear to be about money, sex, parenting, time, jealousy, or family, but very often the partner has become a mirror for an older wound, belief, fear, or unmet need.I work with you both together and, when appropriate, individually. Each person begins to recognize what belongs to their own conditioning rather than making the partner responsible for it. This creates space for greater responsibility, compassion, and understanding before we come back together as a couple. The relationship can then become more than a place where old wounds are repeatedly triggered. It can become a space where each person grows, supports the other’s unfolding, and discovers a deeper possibility for love, acceptance, intimacy, and conscious partnership.
TRUTH TO JOY AWAKENING
- 01HOW IS TRUTH TO JOY AWAKENING DIFFERENT FROM PSYCHOTHERAPY?Truth to Joy Awakening is not psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, or medical care. I do not diagnose mental-health conditions, prescribe medication, or provide clinical treatment as a licensed psychotherapist. My work is consciousness-based and transformational. We explore the root beliefs, emotional imprints, subconscious conclusions, conditioned identities, and energetic patterns beneath what is repeating in your life. Depending on what is needed, the work may include deep trance and Rapid Transformational Therapy, Conscious Witnessing, Completion, Advaitic Healing, meditation, 5-Layer/Kosha work, energy healing, BodyTalk, and other Vedic and yogic technologies. The focus is not on labeling you. It is on helping you see what has been conditioned, understand how it is operating, and create greater freedom in how you experience yourself and live your life.
- 02A Conscious Practitioner works with the person as a whole rather than reducing an experience to a diagnosis or one isolated symptom. I look at the relationship between subconscious beliefs, emotion, identity, body, breath, energy, relationships, and consciousness. The work is highly individualized. My role is to help you see what may be difficult to see from inside the pattern, guide you into deeper inquiry and awareness, and select the technologies most appropriate to what is being revealed. The intention is to help you move from unconscious reaction and conditioned identity toward greater awareness, responsibility, self-trust, and freedom.
- 03WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO GO TO THE ROOT OF A PATTERN?Many repeating struggles begin with an earlier experience and the meaning we formed around it. A child may experience rejection, loss, fear, humiliation, abandonment, or simply not being understood and conclude, for example, “I am not enough,” “I am unsafe,” “I am alone,” or “Love is not available to me.”The event may pass, but the conclusion can become a subconscious blueprint. Later in life, thoughts, relationships, emotions, choices, and reactions can unknowingly organize around that blueprint. Going to the root means identifying the original belief and the experiences that reinforced it so the pattern can be witnessed, understood, and no longer unconsciously lived from.
- 04HOW DOES RTT AND DEEP TRANCE FIT INTO TRUTH TO JOY AWAKENING?Rapid Transformational Therapy and deep trance are among the deeper subconscious technologies I use when appropriate. Trance allows us to move beyond ordinary analytical thinking and access memories, beliefs, emotional conclusions, and associations that may not be immediately available to the conscious mind. Within Truth to Joy Awakening, trance work is not used in isolation. What is uncovered may then be integrated through Conscious Witnessing, Completion, Advaitic understanding, embodied awareness, meditation, energy work, and other technologies. The deeper value is not simply remembering the past; it is understanding the meaning you gave the experience and how that meaning may still be shaping your present.
- 05WHAT IS 5-LAYER / KOSHA WORK?The ancient yogic understanding of the human being recognizes that we experience life through multiple interconnected layers — physical, energetic, mental-emotional, deeper conditioning and intelligence, and the innermost dimension of Being.5-Layer/Kosha work means we do not assume a repeating pattern exists only in thought. We look at how it may be experienced through the body, breath, emotion, subconscious conditioning, energy, and consciousness. Different technologies are brought in according to what is being revealed, allowing the work to unfold more deeply than a purely intellectual understanding of the issue.
- 06WHAT TYPES OF PEOPLE DO YOU WORK WITH?I work with adults, individuals, couples, and families who are willing to look beneath repeating patterns and participate actively in their own transformation. People often come to this work because they are struggling with relationships, self-worth, fear, grief, repeating emotional patterns, intimacy, identity, life transitions, or a sense that they understand the problem intellectually but have not yet changed what is operating underneath it.You do not need to arrive with a spiritual practice or a particular belief system. What matters most is openness, honesty, curiosity, and a willingness to look within.
- 07HOW ARE THE DIFFERENT TECHNOLOGIES CHOSEN FOR ME? There is no fixed formula because every person unfolds differently. Although human beings may share similar root beliefs — such as not being enough, not being safe, not being loved, or not belonging — the way those beliefs are held and the timing in which they become ready to be seen are unique.I choose the technology according to what is arising and what appears most useful at that stage of the work. One person may need deep trance first; another may need Conscious Witnessing, Completion, meditation, BodyTalk, energy work, or a combination. The work is responsive rather than mechanical.
- 08WHAT IS ADVAITIC HEALING, AND HOW DOES IT FIT INTO THE WORK? Advaitic Healing is the larger consciousness framework through which I work. Advaita points to the fundamental truth of wholeness — that beneath conditioning, wounds, identities, and the activity of the mind, there is a deeper dimension of Being that is already whole.Rather than approaching a person through one symptom or one technique alone, I work across the interconnected dimensions of body, breath, mind, subconscious conditioning, energy, identity, and consciousness. Within this framework I may draw from 5-Layer/Kosha work, Completion, Conscious Witnessing, meditation, pranayama, chakra work, energy healing, BodyTalk, RTT, and deep trance. These are not separate pieces competing with one another. They are technologies used within a larger process of awareness, integration, and transformation.
- 09You can expect a private, non-judgmental space in which we look closely at what is happening beneath the issue you are experiencing. We may work through precise questioning, subconscious or trance work, Conscious Witnessing, Completion, embodied awareness, meditation, breathwork, energy healing, BodyTalk, or other technologies depending on the purpose of the session. The session is not about forcing an emotional experience or following a predetermined script. We work with what is present, what is ready to be seen, and what will best support deeper understanding and integration.
- 10I offer both in-person and virtual sessions to accommodate your preferences and needs. Virtual sessions are conducted via secure video conferencing platforms, ensuring accessibility and convenience.
- 11Yes, my approach is particularly effective in addressing trauma and supporting trauma recovery. My specialized training in trauma and transformation, combined with energy healing and meditation techniques, can provide a holistic approach to healing from traumatic experiences.
- 12To schedule sessions, please contact me directly at samarpini@truthtojoytherapy.com. We will arrange a 20 minute discovery session on ZOOM to discuss your needs and goals. If more time is needed you can book a regular session where we delve deeper and put together a plan for future sessions using the appropriate therapies.
- 13Preparing for your sessions involves self-reflection and an open mindset. I ask you to create a “book of hearts,” a journal for writing down any issues or areas of your life you'd like to address, as well as your personal goals and aspirations. Keeping a daily journal before we meet is an excellent way to gain clarity and focus on the issues. This will help us make the most of our transformative work together. If you have any additional questions or need further information, please don't hesitate to reach out. I am here to support your journey towards profound transformation and healing.
- 14Clients seek me out as an opportunity for self-discovery. They may have tried many therapies. They may have changed their diet, added a practice of mindfulness, or psychotherapy, started an online coaching program, only to discover their issues have not healed. Truth to Joy Therapy takes you to the root cause of your issue! Clients often find a childhood memory they had forgotten about that is directly related to their suffering. When this memory is revealed and dissolved, healing happens spontaneously.
- 151.The Unity of All Beings (Advaita): The individual and the universe are one and the same. We are deeply connected to all the stars, the planets, the trees, the creatures, all beings on Earth. This encourages my clients to recognize their interconnectedness with all of existence. 2. RAPID TRANSFORMATIONAL THERAPY
- 01Rapid Transformational Therapy is a fusion therapy rooted in neuroscience. It achieves unparalleled results by integrating the most effective aspects of Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy, Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT) for Global Subconscious Reprogramming. RTT facilitates remarkable and lasting change by reframing deep-seated core beliefs, values, habits, and emotions residing in the subconscious. The approach is built upon the understanding that working with the subconscious mind is vital for positive, enduring change, as it governs 90% of our daily lives, in contrast to the conscious mind's 10% influence.
- 02Rapid Transformational Therapy is grounded in neuroscience principles. It leverages techniques like direct mental commands, mindful repetition, and specific actions to enable the brain's neurons to adapt. This practical neuroscience approach engages the deepest recesses of your mind, facilitating transformation.
- 03RTT is a versatile method that can tackle a wide array of challenges, including: Addictions Anxiety Stress Fears Phobias Panic Attacks Hypnobirthing Relaxation Eating Issues Weight Concerns Skin Conditions Depression Confidence Self-Esteem Self-harming Motivation Achieving Goals Procrastination Mobility Interview Skills Nervousness Trichotillomania Public Speaking Hair Growth Concentration Exams Memory Guilt Relationships Sight/Vision Fertility Sexual Issues Pain Control Hearing Insomnia
- 04By replacing negative mental networks with positive ones through Subconscious Reprogramming, RTT serves as a potent tool for combating anxiety and depression, conquering fears and phobias, achieving wellness and professional goals, and resolving numerous other issues. Rapid Transformational Therapy employs hypnosis as an entry point for subconscious reprogramming. The relaxation experienced during hypnosis quiets the nervous system, creating space for communication between the conscious and unconscious minds. This heightened state of suggestibility allows us to tap into more of our brain's potential, often overshadowed by left-brain dominance, to facilitate Subconscious Reprogramming.
- 05You’ll be aware of everything while hypnotized. Afterwards, you may have a “dreamy” feeling, similar to emerging from a deep daydream or a light nap. It’s like a guided meditation. You never lose your full sense of awareness or fall asleep in hypnosis. On the contrary, you are more fully awake. All levels of hypnosis are characterized by increased attention, and it’s this heightened awareness that increases your receptivity to suggestions.
- 06When I say transformation, what do I mean? When you undertake RTT you look closely at the incident that may well be causing your issues. Something in your past that affected you. It is never the incident that affects us, it is the meaning we give to it. In the RTT session we work together to apply a new meaning to the incident. You will find peace with the past and begin to move on with my help. This is the start of your transformation.
- 07In hypnosis, the brain enters the alpha or light hypnosis and theta, deep hypnosis states. These states make us highly focused on hypnotic suggestions and imagery while suspending the beta state, or the ordinary thinking process. In the alpha and theta states, hypnotic suggestions are integrated into the mind more easily, and memories become more accessible. The conscious mind is like the gatekeeper. Its job is to keep you safe. For that reason, the “thinking” mind prefers to keep things under control, making decisions in favor of maintaining the status quo and resisting changes. The subconscious mind runs on autopilot, based on your current patterns of thinking and reasoning. The subconscious mind simply plays and records. It does not make judgments or reasons like the conscious mind does. Most of your habitual thought and behavioral patterns, as well as your beliefs, are stored in the subconscious mind. This is why it can be difficult to consciously get rid of an old limiting belief or habit and install a new empowering one. If you want to make changes in a simpler, easier way, the subconscious mind is the place you want to go to.
